Gadget Added: Translation Feature!

Hello all!

As you can see we've had quite a bit of remodeling. From new blog posts to all sorts of gadgets. I've gone ahead and added a translation gadget tool to our blog. The work we've provided should by no means be locked or defined by language. Open knowledge and access to all is a core tenement of the library itself and by opting for non-english speakers to access our blog, that allows more eyes on our research! And perhaps more feedback as well!

Adding a Gadget by Leahann Pasquariello

 I added the gadget Labels to our blog. Labels can assist viewers as they navigate around our blog with ease. They will be able to locate certain blog posts. Viewers might find this especially helpful if they are looking to expand on a topic, or even just wish to review a post. I added the label "Libraries, Student Success" and tagged some of the posts on this topic.

Adding a Gadget - Taya Cudal

 I've added the gadget of a search bar near the header. I think this would be very beneficial to make a quick search for a specific topic. It is also helpful because of the larger number of posts. It makes the site easier to navigate. 

Adding the Gadget Followers for our Blog - Deb Limburg

The gadget that I added for our blog is Followers. Followers are vital to sharing our knowledge with our library friends and library community. This will highlight the size of our audience and friendly faces. Additionally, it invites our new readers to follow our blog. It is a great advantage to have followers on a blog to see who is looking at our posts. I think followers are awesome.

Adding Gadgets by Nicole Grumkoski

Today I added a Links gadget "Links for Library Leaders" to our group blog! The first link for the ALA mission statement highlights the fundamental guidelines to lead by which is encompassed in every topic of our blog. I found a lot of value in the links for the ALA article and YouTube video "Librarian's Guide to Homelessness" and directly relates to our Libraries and the Homeless topic.
